It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pam Engwirda, a cherished and dedicated member of the Gold Coast Bushwalking Club. Pam and her husband, Frank, were long-time members, and throughout the years, Pam contributed immensely to the club, leading numerous weekend walks and cycling events.
Pam held several roles within the club, reflecting her commitment and passion:
- Walks Coordinator: 2008–2016
- Cycling Coordinator (with Kay Don): 2014–2016
- Club Secretary: 2010–2011
- Assistant Newsletter Editor: 2008–2009
Her leadership, enthusiasm, and friendship have left a lasting impact on the club and its members. She will be dearly missed.
Our thoughts are with Pam’s children, Emma and Robert, during this difficult time.
A service to celebrate Pam’s life will be held on Friday, 23rd, at 2:30 PM at Allambe Nerang.
