PRESIDENTS REPORT NOVEMBER 2024

An exciting time of the year, with Christmas less than a month away.
We are all looking forward to our Christmas party for the club on the 8th of December, arrive at 10am, time to decorate your table and to hand to our kitchen volunteers the dish to share with our whole group, either a salad, potato bake or dessert. Please nominate ASAP if you haven't already, due to the catering involved, we need to know numbers ahead of time. Please bring your own wine glass and utensils.
The tables will be set up, but we also need to know your table numbers. Please email Kerry Hamilton on kezham@hotmail.com, so this is organised ahead of the day.
Then it's time for a glass of bubbly and to catch up with friends. It's going to be a relaxed day with a few speeches, presentations and then a delicious meal. So I look forward to seeing you there.
At our December General meeting on Dec the 3rd, we will have a special presentation by Craig Flett on his recent trip to the Swiss Alps, some fantastic walks and spectacular scenery, so come along and enjoy that, and if you are thinking of travelling over there, some great tips on what walking to expect.
Our leader's presentation will be postponed till the February meeting, due to some members being away over the Christmas period.
