DW/OT M F4 T3 Cream Track

Departure 7.30 - new meeting area so please ring me 0419 781 305 if you are unsure of where it is. Coming from GC along Tallebudgera Road you turn left into the carpark AFTER you pass the Connection Road turn off (do not turn down Connection Road)

We start the hike at the very end of Tallebudgera Road and followed a dirt track before crossing the creek 3 times - it's a good idea to bring shoes you can get wet. We will change into our boots after we do the creek crossings. We usually hide the wet shoes and collect them on the return.

The track is now mostly a formed track for most of the hike. We will detour onto some cliffs on Gannon for MT if it is dry. There is a bit of a small rock scramble to the spot but a nice view south to Currumbin Valley

Due to private property restrictions we can't continue past the creek, however, depending on the group we may explore some other areas before returning to the cars via the same route.

Gaiters or longs for leg and snake protection please. Poles - if you need them, particularly as the descent can be steep

The track is steep and about 600 metre elevation so a good level of fitness is required.

New members are very welcome, however if you have not walked with me, please ring so I can establish your T4 fitness

We will have lunch on the return and there is a chance to have a swim at the end if it's warm
