DW S T3F3 Gwongoorool Pool

This is a beautiful walk down to the pool, admiring the scenery and taking in all the sights and sounds at our leisure.

The walk starts near the Information Centre at Binna Burra, and descends a series of steep steps past cliffs of volcanic ash, then through open forest and rain forest to reach Gwongoorool Pool on the Coomera River. We may see the resident eel swimming around as we enjoy morning tea in this scenic area, before starting our way back – all uphill but at a leisurely pace. 

Bring plenty of water, morning tea, first aid, and poles if you use them. Don't forget to bring a bag for your dirty boots, and a change of footwear for the drive home.
