Easter Camp at Girraween

A spectacular national park, Girraween, which means place of flowers, has incredibly massive granite boulders, numerous walking tracks and abundant wildlife. It's our annual Easter camp, so we set up in the Castle Rock campground. Tent and van sites available. BOOK EARLY as this camp gets booked out over the Easter break very quickly, the price is just $7.75 per night for a tent site, bookings open now. Arrive on the Thursday before Good Friday, and we will stay till Monday. Depending on numbers, walks are open for discussion, and we try to cater for track & off-track walks, so everyone can join in.

The amenities are info centre, toilets, no showers( solar showers can be set up as shower cubicles are available). BBQ, campfires, (bring your own wood) and picnic tables. Bring your own chair as we have happy hour each afternoon, so something to share.

 You will need to be self sufficient, so all the essentials, including drinking water, (tap available for washing up ) your food for the time away, backpack, tent etc.  

For those interested, some will go onto Bald rock, the largest exposed granite rock in Australia, and we will camp Monday night there. A separate booking is  required as it's in NSW. Bookings open in early October. It's $8.00 admission per car, the camping site or caravan site is $24.60 for 2 people per night. Book directly on the website.

Girraween is located on the Queensland, New South Wales border, approx 20 minutes' drive from the Stanthorpe turn off.
