O’Reillys Rainforest Retreat

O'Reillys Rainforest Retreat situated in the Lamington National Park offers many walks of varying grades, beautiful scenery and wonderful bird life. Our 2 nights, 3 day stay will allow us to enjoy several walks, a little bird watching and lots of camaraderie with our fellow walkers.
ACCOMMODATION:

In Safari tents OR camping (your choice)

PLEASE BOOK ON THE O'REILLYS WEB SITE

The Safari Tents sleep 3 or 4 people so it is best to organise your group and then book your safari tent sharing the cost.

The safari tents do not supply linen so bring your own linen. Including bed linen pillow and towel.

FOOD:

The camp kitchen is well equipped with a refrigerator, stove, gas cooktop, microwave. and zip instant hot water.

Please bring all meals and happy hour. Bring your own plates, cutlery, mug and glass.

The verandah is ideal for relaxing with a cuppa after a walk.

Bring games/cards for evening fun and in case wet weather sets in.

WALKS:

Two walks each day will be posted separately. Please register on both the walks as well as the base camp.

BIRD WATCHING:

Bob will lead a bird watching group. If you intend to participate in this activity, please bring binoculars

MEETING:

9:30 Wednesday 2nd December at O'Reillys Coffee Shop. All activities will leave from here. Park in the top car park as it will be too early to check in on day 1.
