Meeting for a 5.30 pm departure from John Handley Community Complex (between Burleigh Waters Library and Burleigh Waters Community Centre).

We will incorporate green spaces, a few water views and street walking as we make our way to a local watering hole that has boutique beers and drinks on offer. A flat walk. After a suitable time we will return to the park for our BYO BBQ, meal, sandwich or soup - this is a great time to enjoy a catch up with fellow hikers.

A shorter distance of around 4.5 km walk - this allows time at the watering hole laugh 

Torches are recommended as some areas may be in darkness
