Bally Mountain OT M T4F4

A local walk not far from home in the Springbrook National Pk.

7.30 - 2.00.11 klms return.

Height 506 meters.

We start the walk to the east on the recreation trail (partially private), up little Bally for an hour and a bit, not too steep.

Then we cross a razorback and take in the views of both valleys and take a break.

After a refresh we follow the track up big Bally T5

This section of 80 metres in height is partly exposed, so a head for heights is essential.

On reaching the top we enjoy the magnificent 360 degree views and regain our breath.

Then another scramble 10 metres down to the track then on to a continual steep fire road for an hour back to the cars.

Another walk will be available if it rains the night before.

The walk is mostly on track apart from the scramble up big Bally
