DW S T3F4 Arakwal National Park, Byron Bay

I am very excited to introduce this NEW walk at Byron Bay.

We begin our walk south of the Byron Bay lighthouse.  We follow a well-defined track from the carpark down to Tallows Beach, then along the beach for a short distance before heading up through the Tallow Beach carpark. Continue onto another track which leads up to the popular rainforest track and on to the lighthouse. After morning tea at the lighthouse (bring or buy), we head down the steps on the northern side, stopping at the rocky outcrops, Wategoes and Clark's beaches.  From Clark’s beach we connect again to the track which then leads us to a lookout at the water tower, boasting wonderful views of the southern beach.  Down more steps and rocky path to the cars.  Depending on time and where we have lunch, we can walk to a nearby lake. Please note:  This walk involves a lot of steps.

Pack plenty of water, first aid, hat and sunscreen and wear good walking shoes.
