OT M T4 F4 Mount Greville

Depart Nerang Gold Coast 6am for meet at  Mt Greville  carpark 8am off Mount Greville Road Moogerah. A few of us will be camping at Friday night (details to follow)

Suitable for members new to offtrack with good fitness - however if you haven't hiked with me before, please call me so I can assess your abilities

We will follow a well worn track to Waterfall Gorge where we navigate up a beautiful rocky gully. This will hopefully be dry but will depend on any recent rain events

Morning tea on Slab rock looking down on Lake Moogerah and beyond

Continuing to the Mount Greville Peak for great western views of the main range before enjoying an early lunch 

Finishing by descending Palm Gorge with an option to explore a great lookout if the group is interested

We should return to the cars early afternoon and hopefully back to GC by 4.30 pm but please don't plan anything in case it is longer

Not a long walk but it is steep and lots of rock scrambling both up and down with an ascent over 600 metres

Full off track gear, good boots, first aid, plenty of water etc
