DW M T3 F3 West Canungra Creek

We leave the Border Track 250 m from O'Reilly’s and then descend 400 m over 5kms to Blue Pool on West Canungra Creek. Whilst enjoying morning tea here, we may see the resident eels. We then follow the creek upstream viewing many cascades and waterfalls, including Elabana and Box Log Falls, before ascending from Picnic Rock to the Border Track and on to O'Reillys for afternoon tea. At Picnic Rock we will consider an off-track walk upstream to Sunshine Falls. This walk of 14kms is suitable for fit new members. Bring all the essentials and plenty of water.
