DW M T3F3 Apple Tree to Purlingbrook Falls

This walk needs a short Car Shuffle and is app.10 km!

We start at Appletree Park winding our way through the enchanted Environmental Forest, then cross the road to descend the 600 steps to our first creek crossing where we might have a small break before crossing the creek and going up some steep steps.  We continue along a gorge and waterfall to a waterhole where in the summer we normally have a swim and morning tea ...but not today! We continue to our second creek crossing and another beautiful waterhole, then to my favourite place for a good rest and morning tea which has it all ...come and see for yourselves!

Then we walk up and up (gentle) to reach the bottom of the magnificent Purlingbrook Falls where we cross the bridge (great for photo opportunities) and continue slowly up to the top of the falls ...a final look from the lookout at our achievement and then wander along a delightful section to the Settlement picnic area where we can have lunch or drive back to Appletree Park.

Please bring all the essentials and poles if you use them.
