Bushies Christmas Party

Our annual Christmas party this year, will be held at the charming, air-conditioned Mudgeeraba Memorial Hall, 62 Railway Street, Mudgeeraba, (next to the old Woodchoppers), this change of location is due to substantial increase in costs.

Doors open at 10.00 am, and we need help with setting up tables & chairs, please arrive at 9.00am, so we can get it organised before everyone arrives, those who are  decorating their tables arrive at 9.30 am.

This year's theme will be an Aussie Christmas, so decorate your table and come dressed in your colourful Christmas gear. Come to chat, mingle and take time to catch up with your friends.

Winners of the annual photo competition will be announced, photos need to be submitted by the 16th November, you will need to be registered by this date, and attend to receive your prize. The categories are the same as last year, Bushies being Bushies, It's all about the light, Scenery, Rainforest magic, Wildlife, Birds, and 2 new categories, Bike riding, and Kayaking. We will also have a number of lucky door prizes.

We now have trestle tables that seat 12, and to cut down on the workload,  you need to organise your own seating allocation. It's a good opportunity to share with other members.  The table and chairs, will be set up, and we would appreciate a couple of extra spots on each table to welcome new members.

We ask everyone attending to bring either a salad, dessert or HOT potato bake, (no oven available.) Also, serving utensils and bring food items complete, as we have limited kitchen space.

The club will provide a glass of c Champagne or Orange juice, Ham, Chicken, Tea & Coffee, Christmas cake and Ice cream. It's BYO for your own drinks, and red wine is allowed, bring your own  utensils and nibbles for your own table.

Non-members attending, the cost is $20.00 per head  (please bring the correct money)and you would need to book with the member attending,  so we have the correct number count.

 Registrations close on the 3rd December due to catering(sorry, no late bookings or walkins)

  Parking is available on the street, shopping centre or the Coles undercover carpark, at Bell Central Shopping centre, cnr Link Way and Bell St. From Coles it's just up the stairs to our location.
