Mt Bally 5.6km, 405 m elevation, 2-2.5 h on return.

The trail head is at the end of Bonogin Road where there is a cleared area to park. The ascent to Little Bally Peak is a tough uphill walk, followed by a small section of rock scrambling to the peak. Great views of the Gold Coast skyline and the hinterland at the summit. We will have a break there. The descent would be much easier.

Requires hiking boots, best with pole(s), 2L of water, snacks, and first aid kit.

depart 07.30 Elser Laver Park or 8 am at Bonogin. Petrol $5.
