DW M T3F3 Ballina Headlands

We will meet at beautiful Lake Ainsworth, located at the northern end of Lennox Head near the Surf Lifesaving Club.  After a walk along the beach we walk up and over Lennox Heads and admire the spectacular coastal view. We will walk along the top of the cliffs over Lennox and Skennar Heads and along a boardwalk skirting Boulders Beach. We will walk to Whites Head, overlooking Sharpes Beach and then return to Lake Ainsworth. Please bring morning tea and lunch to have along the way.  On the return journey we will walk through the small town of Lennox and probably stop for an ice-cream and coffee so there will be no need to bring afternoon tea. Please bring swimmers if you fancy a cool off dip in Lake Ainsworth or the surf at the end.

This walk is 12.5k return and will be done at an easy pace with time for photos and is ideal for new members.
