Bushwalking Queensland Pilgrimage 2025

The Bushwalking Queensland Pilgrimage 2025 is just around the corner, and we’d love for you to be part of this exciting event!  

Dates: Friday, August 8th – Sunday, August 10th, 2025  
Location: Beaudesert Showgrounds, Tina Street, Beaudesert  
Hosted by: Gold Coast Bushwalking Club, celebrating their 50th anniversary  

Join fellow outdoor enthusiasts for a weekend of adventure, community, and celebration, with fantastic activities, delicious meals, and live music.  

Event Highlights:  

• Admission: $30.00 per person for the weekend, including non-powered campsite. Payment must be made to complete registration. 
• Powered Site: An additional $20.00 per van or motor home (Maximum of 40 available 5 power boards with 8 connections, 1 water tap per power board)  
• Toilet & shower facilities available  
• The Teese Pavilion - our hub for meals, activities & entertainment  
• Bandicoots Bush Band performing Saturday night  
• Tea, coffee & nibbles are provided throughout the weekend.
• Carpooling will be used to reach the starting point of events.  Cash will be required for donations to the driver. 
• A raffle is planned with funds collected going to Federation Mountain Rescue (FMR). Cash will be required for tickets.

Restrictions:

• No pets;
• No fires.
• Entry and dinner payments must be by credit or debit card (cash or direct debit payments not accepted).
• To attend, you must be a member of an affiliated club. 
• All participants must sign an Acknowledgement of Risk form on entry to the Pilgrimage.

    • Bike ride
      • Kerry Valley
  • Dinner at Beaudesert RSL with bar service ($30.00 per head, starts at 5:30 PM)  
  • Meal options: 
    • Enjoy a set menu where meals will be alternated between participants. You may receive Rump steak, with garlic sauce, chips and salad (gluten-free) or Chicken Parmigiana with Chips & Salad. If you prefer a different option, you can swap with fellow attendees at your table.
    • Vegetarian lasagne
