DW S T3F4 HellFire Pass and Beyond
This walk commences at the end of Belliss Rd. We will walk along the forestry track until reaching the start of Hellfire Pass. This is a steep climb and requires a reasonable level of fitness to reach the top of the track. Expect approximately 1 and a half hours of climbing. Once at the top however, the hard work is over for the day. We walk down the road towards Freemans reserve and through this pretty reserve until reaching the end of the ridge line, where we will have morning tea with a lovely lookout over the coast.
We retrace our steps back to the cars where we can have lunch or, for those who prefer, an early return home.
This is a terrific training hike for those who wish to challenge their hill climbing fitness, or for those looking for a good fitness hike that doesn't take up too much of the day.
