DW M T3F3 Numinbah Valley CANCELLED

This is a lovely walk through rainforest, with the sounds of bellbirds coming from high in the trees. Be prepared for some small water courses to cross after all the recent rains. There are quite a few hills, with an elevation of 480 metres, and we will drop down into the valley for morning tea on the banks of Waterfall Creek.  There will be an opportunity for a swim to cool off. Be aware that this is an out and back walk, meaning hills will definitely be encountered on the return route. This is an area purchased by the Gold Coast City as a green project.
There is an element of fitness required as it is approximately 15kms., but all on well formed tracks.
You will need to bring both morning tea and lunch.

Bring hiking poles if you need them, plenty of water ( at least 2-3 litres), sturdy hiking boots. Morning tea will be in a delightful area along Waterfall Creek, and lunch will be back at the Numinbah Arts Centre on the lawns.
