DW/M/T3/F3 Lower Ballunjui Falls, Binna Burra

This is a good beginners' walk of around 11km, starting at the Saddle Trailhead (just below /behind the Binna Burra Welcome Centre). The walk takes us down the hill, stopping briefly to enjoy the views from Koolanbilba Lookout and Yangahla (Picnic Rock). We finally pass a beautiful palm section of the forest. Morning tea will be at Lower Ballunjui Falls, before returning along the creek and then up, up and up the hill. Lunch will be back up at Binna Burra.  Make sure you bring all the essentials, good footwear and 2L water. The pace will be leisurely, with time to photograph anything of interest e.g.fungi, plants… It will be all down to morning tea and then all up to lunchtime with an elevation change of 250m or so.
