DW S T3 F4 Hellfire Pass and Beyond
This walk commences at the end of Belliss Rd. We will walk along the forestry track until reaching the start of HellFire Pass. This is a steep climb and requires a reasonable level of fitness to reach the top of the track. Expect approximately 1 and half hours climbing. Once at the top however, the hard work is over for the day. We will walk down the road towards Freemans Reserve and through this pretty reserve until reaching the end of the ridge line, where we will have morning tea.
We retrace our steps for lunch back at the cars, or an early return home for those who wish. Covering a total of 13-14 Kms, this is a terrific training hike for those who wish to challenge their hill climbing fitness, or for those looking for a good fitness hike that doesn't take up too much of the day.
Meeting point Vince Hinde Park, Nerang. 6.45am
