Thursday Night Social walk `The Observatory, Reedy Creek. Christmas Party

As this is the Christmas Thursday night group bash please wear something Christmassy.

Unlike our previous BYO BBQ - this is one we will bring a plate to share with everyone - Diets are out the door and we will just stuff ourselves with unhealthy nibbles and snack foods - well maybe there will be a few healthy dishes - but = it's Christmas!!

There are undercover areas and BBQs for any  people needing to cook 

Before the party - we will actually earn it by hiking some footpaths and bush tracks, so hiking boots are recommended.  It maybe muddy - If you usually use poles, then bring them as well as a torch, as some areas have no lighting.

The longer light of the day will allow viewing of the natural bush as well as some beautiful homes, views of GC and hopefully some Christmas lights.

This area has quite a few hills, some short, steep but not too continuous - unfortunately. Unfortunately, there are few alternatives around the hills

Meet : Southern Skies Park near Stockport Crt

Directions : On entering Reedy Creek, turn off at exit 84 if coming from the north 0r exit 85 from the south onto Old Coach Road. Then turn at the roundabout near Woolworths and turn into Kingsmore Boulevard, which becomes Wyllie Way, which then changes name again to Observatory Drive. Follow this to the top of the hill (no, you don't have to walk up this one!), turn right at the T intersection, still on Observatory Drive, at the second roundabout turn right onto Southern Skies Avenue. You will find the park at the end. (or just put Southern Skies Drive, Reedy Creek on your GPS)
