BC Woodenbong base camp for off-trackers

Base camp for off-trackers to climb some less visited peaks in the Woodenbong area, about 2 hours from the Gold Coast. Camp at Woodenbong campground (NOT the showground) which is $5 per night for an unpowered site with hot showers available. A few powered sites available too. Come for Friday night, Saturday night or both. We’ll walk on Saturday and Sunday, with exact walks to be decided closer to the date. Some require a 4WD to get to the starting point so will be determined by group. Options include South Obelisk, North Obelisk, Edinburgh Castle and Bald Knob. All are probably about a F4 T5 grade.

Will only go ahead in dry weather.
