DW M T4F3 Border Track to Balancing Rock

This lovely undulating 12 kilometre walk at O’Reilly’s is mostly under canopy and follows an often indistinct and overgrown footpad from the Border Track through to Balancing Rock. Lots of over and under fallen trees as we wend our way to Lyrebird Lookout for morning tea. Then on to Orchid Grotto, Moonlight Crag and finally to Balancing Rock and lunch. Then down the Red Road and on to the Wishing Tree track back to the cars.
Afternoon tea may be at Kamerun Lookout or O Reilly’s depending on the weather. Well shod please, with plenty of
water.
