BC Easter camp at Girraween
Girraween National Park is located on the Qld and NSW border just 30 minutes from Stanthorpe.
A spectacular National park, Girraween which means place of flowers, has massive granite boulders, numerous walking tracks and abundant wildlife. We are setting up camp at the Castle Rock camp-site, tent and camp sites available. Arrive Good Friday to set up camp and check out the camp-site. Depending on numbers, walks are open for discussion, and we try to cater for off track and track walks. Bring all essentials, including drinking water. You will need to be self sufficient.
The amenities are, information centre, toilets, but no showers, bring your own solar shower, BBQ, bring your own wood, camp fires - conditions apply, and some picnic tables. We have happy hour after the day's walking so something to share is nice. Bookings can be made on the National Park website or by calling 137468.
It's popular and has limited numbers, so book early.
