OT F4 T3/4 M Buchanan's Fort from the west side

We will approach from the west side

We have permission to start the access via private property. 

Once we are over the creek and paddocks we head steeply up a ridge before reaching the peak for a well earned break

We will then continue around the top of the escarpment for panoramic views of Lamington NP including Stretcher track and Widgee

If I can get further permission we will also traverse the top plateau to the east and northern sides before returning via the same steep ridge.

This walk will be run in conjunction with the Christmas at Christmas Creek camp or you can meet us out at Stinson Park Campground at 7.30am for a day walk

Off track gear required as there is no footpad and potentially long grass and overgrowth
