DW M T3 F3 Byron Bay

We car pool at Mudgeerabah and drive to Byron Bay where we'll park at Bilongil Beach and commence our walk here.

Directions: Turn off highway and drive towards Byron Bay township, turning left onto Kendall Street. (There is an Ampol garage on the right). Continue along Kendall Street PAST Don Street and park near the next turn at New Jetty Park. We commence our walk here, walking along the beach. 

There are NO toilets here. We will need to wait until we reach the surf club. We then walk up towards the lighthouse  taking a bush track which opens out to ocean views below the lighthouse. Morning tea at the lighthouse where you can bring or buy.  After whale watching we will return via the steps to Wategoes Beach. Lunch along the way. Our return to the cars will be approx 2pm.
