This is an ideal beginners Off-Track walk out around O'Reilly’s.  We will head off past the O'Reilly’s Rainforest Guest Houses through the rainforest, via the suspension bridge, to the Wishing Tree, past the Ropes Course and along part of the Red Road in the cool of the morning. We will take in views of Balancing Rock, the Morans Falls, & cliffs of the Lost World.  We then have a short walk (optional) across a narrow razorback to Castle Crag, with spectacular views along The Kerry Valley engulfing the Albert River. We then make our way up the hill, a gentle slope to Moonlight Crag & more spectacular views where we stop for morning tea . We will continue through interesting rainforest with some Off-Track walking to the Orchid Grotto, Lyrebird Lookout, crossing the small Morans creek up to the historic Forestry Campsite for lunch. From here we make our way out of the rainforest, along the Border Track & return to O'Reilly’s or Kamerun Lookout for afternoon tea. Bring plenty of water, electrolytes & usual necessities. Good footware recommended.
