EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

This is a 250klm circular walk from Portland thru tranquil forests, paddling through the gorges of the Glenelg River (or walking) to Nelson; beach, walking long stretches to freshwater lakes, sublime bays, high rugged clifftops and capes past the seal colony around Cape Nelson, back to Portland.

The average day's walk will be approx. 20 klms, with one rest day at Nelson.

It will be a supported walk with cabin accommodation (camping while kayaking), all meals, and bus transportation daily. This means you will need to provide your own camping gear as usual on an overnight kayaking trip.

The cost is expected to be approx $1400 per person, based on 9 hikers.

It does not include flights to or from Melbourne.
